Faux “meat” sauce |  Vegetable/Fruit Day

Ingredients
  • carrots
  • cauliflower
  • mushrooms
  • green pepper
  • red onion
  • garlic
  • Pam
  • red pepper flakes
  • legal marinara sauce
  • Italian seasonings
  • salt & pepper
Directions
  • blend carrots, cauliflower, mushrooms, green pepper and red onion in the food processor until it was the consistency of ground beef
  • sauté garlic and add the "beef" mixture, Italian seasonings, salt & pepper and red pepper flakes
  • cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
  • add legal marinara sauce
  • serve over spaghetti squash or baked zucchini boats
  • enjoy!
