Kristine's Sweet and Sour Vegetables | Vegetable/Fruit Day
Makes 2 servings - each serving uses: 12 oz of your daily vegetable allowance and 1 cup of your daily fruit allowance
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 medium red pepper, sliced
- 1/2 medium green pepper, sliced
- 12 oz broccoli
- fresh garlic, minced (to taste)
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, cubed
- zero-calorie pineapple syrup

- Bragg's Liquid Aminos
- PAM olive oil or other zero-calorie cooking spray
Directions
- sauté slice onions and peppers until soft
- add garlic, to taste
- steam broccoli until bright green
- add broccoli to sauté
- in a small bowl, mix pineapple syrup and Bragg's, to taste
- add mixture and cubed pineapple to sauté
- stir until thoroughly mixed
- enjoy!
