Marlene's Cauliflower Steaks | Vegetable Day
Makes 4 serving - uses 10 oz of your daily vegetable allowance
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- Spice of choice
- Marlene likes lemon curry or tarragon sea salt
- PAM or other zero calorie cooking spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 500
- Carefully slice cauliflower head into 4 thick slabs
- Carefully place 'steaks' on cooking tray
- Spray 'steaks' with PAM
- Sprinkle with spice of choice
- Roast 'steaks' in oven
- When top is browned carefully flip with spatula
- Roast for another 10 minutes
- Marlene suggests serving with roasted mixed vegetables or a side of legal guacamole and plantain chips
- Enjoy!
