Rayanne's Fried Cabbage | Vegetable Day
Makes 4 servings - uses 10 oz of your daily vegetable allowance
Ingredients
- 1 medium cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 green pepper, minced
- 1 TBSP Walden Farms peanut spread
- 1 TBSP Walden Farms garlic & herb sauce
- PAM
- suggested seasonings (add or omit to desired taste)
- black pepper
- garlic
- adobo
- salt
- hot pepper flakes
Directions
- spray frying pan with PAM
- sauté cabbage, making sure to watch it because it burns easily
- add onions and green peppers
- stir
- spray more PAM and/or add a bit of water to prevent the vegetables from sticking
- when tender, stir in peanut spread and garlic & herb sauce
- keep stirring
- add desired seasonings, to taste
- keep stirring
- cook to desired tenderness
- enjoy!
